We are seeking a dedicated Goods Receiving Specialist to join our team! In this vital role, you will efficiently manage the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring they are properly sorted for storage or movement to the sales area. This includes unpacking merchandise, preparing items for display, restocking shelves, and accurately checking in inventory. Your contributions will ensure that products are easily accessible, well‑distributed, and safely stored, all while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving and processing apparel.

• Process purchase orders accurately by following established procedures.
• Utilize scan guns and software to document all receipts accurately.
• Monitor daily purchase order and distribution center (DC) shortages and communicate discrepancies proactively.
• Maintain organized records by filing all receiving documentation on a daily basis.
• Contribute to efficient sorting of incoming DC trucks and verifying vendor price tags.
• Implement security tag placement and price labeling for select apparel as per SOP.
• Ensure adequate inventory supplies, including hangers and security tags.
• Efficiently manage store-to-store transfers and maintain accurate records for shipping and receiving.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels on sales floors during peak demand periods.
• Collaborate with the receiving team to ensure smooth operations on a regular basis.
• Follow company‑established receiving protocols diligently.
• Organize products onto rocket carts for effective distribution throughout the store.
• Transport sorted goods to sales floors, ensuring appropriate quantity distribution.
• Provide support to management in tracking merchandise accurately.
• Facilitate seamless store‑to‑store and UPS transfers.
• Assist in addressing negative on‑hand inventory issues through research and review.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through organization and cleanliness.
• Operate general office equipment and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Participate in cross‑training to enhance versatility in various departments.
• Engage in ongoing learning initiatives, including training programs and workshops, to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Minimum of 1 year of receiving experience or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven record of producing error‑free work that meets quality standards.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using computer systems and software to assist with activities and customer interactions.

• Ability to maintain either seated or standing positions for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds consistently and 31‑50 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable using ladders, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely.
• Able to access and navigate all facilities effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interactions in person and electronically.
• Close vision required for computer‑related tasks.
