Elevate member financial health as a Hybrid Tax Advisor & Preparer in Chilliwack, BC. Provide personalized tax strategies and build long-term relationships with members through in-person engagement and remote support.

As a dedicated Tax Advisor & Preparer at FBC, you will empower members by delivering tailored tax strategies while fostering connections to FBC’s array of services. This position requires daily travel to urban and remote locations, ensuring members receive expert advice on tax preparation, estate planning, and financial guidance. You will play a crucial role in enhancing client relationships and promoting all of FBC’s financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable tax and accounting advice to FBC members

• Prepare member T1 and T2 tax returns accurately

• Build strong member connections for referrals and engagement

• Identify specialized member needs and connect them with experts

• Maintain detailed records of member interactions and services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in tax preparation or accounting

• Proficient in tax preparation software, Xero preferred

• Experience with individual and corporate tax returns

• Knowledge of tax returns for farms and small businesses

• Strong client service and communication abilities
