As a full-time Tax Advisor & Preparer at FBC, you will work closely with members to craft personalized tax strategies that minimize their tax liabilities effectively. This role includes daily travel to meet clients at their businesses, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that encompass tax, bookkeeping, and financial planning. Your focus on building strong relationships will drive member satisfaction and service referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer precise tax and accounting recommendations to members

• Prepare and file T1 and T2 tax returns for clients

• Establish and maintain lasting member relationships

• Identify and connect clients with specialized FBC services

• Keep detailed records of all member-related interactions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tax preparation

• Proficiency in accounting software like Xero

• Background in preparing individual and corporate tax returns

• Experience with farming and small business tax matters

• Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills
