Position: Chilliwack Casino Financial Controller Role
Drive financial excellence in a Chilliwack casino as their Financial Controller. This key role encompasses leadership in accounting, budget management, and procurement operations.

As a pivotal team member, you will oversee all finance-related tasks, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls. Collaborating closely with the Staff Accountant, your leadership will enhance financial strategies and reporting processes, providing insights to operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accountancy, including cash controls

• Supervise month-end and year-end financial closings

• Draft and present GAAP-compliant statements

• Develop procurement strategies and supplier relationships

• Monitor financial performance against budgets

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong grasp of tax compliance and internal controls

• Advanced Excel proficiency

• Familiarity with ERP systems beneficial, Sage a plus
