We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Resort Attendant, with a focus on our janitorial operations, to join our Housekeeping team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!

The Resort Attendant is responsible for undertaking all aspects of the housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial operations. Whether it’s getting our guest rooms ready, cleaning common areas of the resort, or working in laundry operations, this role requires flexibility in working in all areas of our accommodations department. Variety and cross‑training are key components of this position. We are looking for someone that would like to focus and specialize in the janitorial operations of the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the lodge, Loon Lagoon (pool & fitness facility), restaurant, banquet rooms, washrooms and hallways are cleaned to a high standard daily.
  • General cleaning of offices, public areas including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing walkways and stairways, dusting and wiping down high touch surfaces, washing windows, and removing garbage.
  • Perform general outdoor cleaning duties, including snow removal from building entrances in the winter.
  • Clean rooms, cabins, & chalets to a high standard and within the time given. This includes stripping and making beds, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchens & living areas, and removing all garbage from inside and outside areas.
  • Ensure that all room amenities are in place.
  • Complete all guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all the resort’s laundry is separated, cleaned, folded, and stacked in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the turnover of laundry in an efficient manner to meet set productivity standards.
  • Keep laundry area in order and prioritize laundry duties for the day.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any items to be ordered in a timely fashion.
  • Follow safety protocols, including adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Deliver additional linens & guest amenities to accommodations.
  • Report any room deficiencies to the RA Supervisor/Manager.
  • Possible work in other departments such as banquet set‑up/tear‑down.
  • Assist other departments with general duties around the resort.
Requirements
  • Understanding of hotel and housekeeping operations.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry or janitorial work is an asset.
  • A valid class 5 or 7N driver’s license valid in BC is a must for the janitor position.

This is a year‑round position with an immediate start.
