We are currently seeking a Junior Legal Administrative Assistant to assist our busy Family Law Department. This position is in-office at our Chilliwack office and available immediately. While this position is ideally for an assistant with some familiarity of family law practices, this entry-level position could also be suitable for current Practicum Students or very newly graduated Legal Administrative Assistants.

In addition to usual entry level tasks such as filing and closing files, you will be trained to assist with Trial preparation, file management, and other task-based assignments. You would report most directly to three Senior Paralegals, which provides an excellent and encouraging environment for continued trainingp>

The successful candidate will be mature, have meticulous attention to detail, established writing and communication skills, the ability to work in a very fast-paced team environment, and possess very strong computer skills as we work in an ever-increasing paperless practice.

compensation: $22 – $26 per hour and wholly commensurate with maturity and related experience / Group RRSP matching after 1 year of employment
