Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Tasks- Maintain financial and production records.
- Co‑ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed.
- Maintain quality control and production records.
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations.
- Hire and train staff.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Establish work schedules and procedures.
1 year to less than 2 years.
Support for Youths- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Offers on‑the‑job training tailored to youth.
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
