Tasks Maintain financial and production records.
Co‑ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed.
Maintain quality control and production records.
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations.
Hire and train staff.
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Establish work schedules and procedures.
Experience 1 year to less than 2 years.
Support for Youths Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
Offers on‑the‑job training tailored to youth.
Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
