Thode Knife & Saw is seeking an accomplished Regional General Manager to lead our Canadian operations and play a pivotal role in the next stage of our international growth.

Based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, this leadership position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and carries regional responsibility for the commercial, operational, manufacturing, financial and people performance of our Canadian business.

This is far more than a traditional General Manager role. It is an opportunity to lead an established, respected manufacturing and technical services business while helping shape the future direction of a growing international organisation. As the CEO's delegated regional leader, you will be responsible to make decisions, drive performance and build capability while contributing as a key member of the Thode Group Leadership Team.

As the General Manager, you will lead an integrated business encompassing manufacturing, sales, customer service, technical services, supply chain, warehousing and administration. You will translate Group strategy into disciplined regional execution, deliver sustainable commercial growth, strengthen operational capability, develop customer partnerships and build a high-performing team capable of supporting future growth.

Success in this role requires a person who is equally comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom as they are engaging with their team on the manufacturing floor or meeting with key customers. You will bring proven experience leading industrial or manufacturing businesses with genuine P&L accountability, a strong commercial mindset, operational credibility and a demonstrated history of improving profitability, productivity and organisational capability.

We are seeking a business builder rather than a business maintainer, someone who has successfully grown organisations, led transformational change, developed exceptional people and created cultures founded on accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus. Experience with in forestry, wood processing or industrial cutting solutions will be highly regarded; however, leaders from aligned manufacturing, industrial services, engineered products, capital equipment or technical service sectors with transferable skills and experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
