Join Seabird Island as the Income Assistance Program Lead, driving community well-being through culturally informed leadership. Your expertise will enhance service delivery and client outcomes across First Nations communities.
In this critical role, you will oversee income assistance services to ensure compliance with ISC guidelines. Manage budgets, lead strategic initiatives, and engage in community relations that build partnerships. This program leadership position focuses on trauma-informed, culturally safe support, empowering teams and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership aligning with community and ISC values

• Develop and implement culturally grounded service models

• Advocate for systemic policy improvements

• Facilitate team culture and professional development

• Manage interdepartmental collaborations and external partnerships
Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related field

• Five years of experience in Indigenous community services

• Leadership experience in human services

• Knowledge of ISC income assistance policies

• Excellent communication and client advocacy skills
