Position: Income Assistance Program Director - Seabird Island
Location: Agassiz

Lead the Income Assistance Program at Seabird Island and contribute to the empowerment of Indigenous families. Your leadership will focus on trauma-informed practices that foster community well-being and client self-determination.

This position offers strategic oversight for income assistance services, ensuring adherence to ISC regulations while promoting equity through program improvements. Engage actively in community relations, building strategic partnerships that enhance access to services and wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction for income assistance initiatives

• Monitor compliance and manage program budgets

• Advocate for equitable policy changes

• Strengthen team capacity through training and guidance

• Implement community-centric wellness programs

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or equivalent experience

• Minimum five years in Indigenous social services

• Leadership expertise in a related field

• In-depth knowledge of ISC policies

• Effective advocate with strong communication skills
