Food Service Supervisor

Tim Hortons in Chilliwack, BC is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5–10 staff in a restaurant setting.

Work Setting: Restaurant

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
• Criminal record check required
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Client focus, flexibility, initiative, dependability, and team player attributes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours
