The Opportunity

This newly created role sits at the heart of HUB's growth strategy, focused on developing, supporting, and promoting cross-selling initiatives across Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits. As the Cross Sell Director
, you will work closely with practice leadership teams to identify and optimize cross-selling opportunities, with the potential to expand across all lines of business as the role evolves. As a key member of the sales leadership team, this individual will play an instrumental role in shaping how HUB approaches client growth and development.
What You’ll Bring to Our Team
5+ years’ experience in Property and Causality and/or Employee Benefits experience
5+ year in sales leadership experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in sales process and account management
Experience in cross-selling and collaborating with different lines of business
Ability to learn quickly and adapts well to change
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to articulate a value proposition in a concise manner
Ability to think outside of the box and see the big picture
Level 2 Insurance License required
A Day in the Life
Develop, execute and measure cross-sell strategies/initiatives for HUB region
Provide coaching to sales team(s) on sales/closing techniques
Work with sales leadership to set cross-selling goals
Understand and articulate value proposition for both employee benefits (EB) and property & casualty (P&C) insurance and Warranty
Act as a resource and subject matter expert for field colleagues
Work with sales leadership to identify and overcome barriers to success
Participate in Critical Path and stewardship meetings
Participate in EB/P&C sales meetings
Work with Sales Resources Managers to manage and track pipeline in the CORE system
Oversee delivery of targeted education sessions for advisors on various key cross-sell product lines
Ability to create financial reports using KPI reporting and analysis on cross sell strategies/track sales metrics and report to leadership
Attend client meetings to present growth opportunities
Ensures compliance to policies and procedures such as:
Compliance Check Lists
Coverage Maps
Disclosure Statements
Salary Expectations –
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $ and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
