Protrack is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a hybrid role based in Hope, BC, with a mix of on site and workshop based position. The role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities include handling equipment troubleshooting, completing repairs efficiently, and ensuring that machinery operates at peak performance for use in industries like Aggregate, Mining, and Recycling.

The ideal candidate will also assist in maintaining an organized and safe work environment and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance procedures in mobile track mounted equipment
• Experience and knowledge in Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting
• Familiarity with tools and techniques for repairing and maintaining heavy machinery
• Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and technical issues effectively and efficiently
• Physical ability to handle equipment and perform demanding tasks as required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites, if necessary
• Experience in industries like Aggregate, Mining, and Recycling is an asset
• Technical certification or trade apprenticeship in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or a related field preferred
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
