Facilities Technician

Position: Full-Time Facilities Technician Role
Become a Facilities Technician with Ruth & Naomi’s Mission, focusing on repairs and maintenance for our Chilliwack facilities. Contribute to a supportive community environment through technical expertise.

In this full-time role, you'll manage a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Responsible for routine inspections and repairs, you will ensure our spaces are safe for everyone. Collaborating with the Facilities Lead, you'll also support custodial staff in various duties across different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs across various trades as needed

• Carry out inspections to assess maintenance requirements

• Repair, patch, and paint walls and fixtures

• Complete assigned tasks using MaintainX

• Address urgent maintenance situations promptly

Requirements:

• Experience in trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC

• Relevant certification or hands-on experience preferred

• Familiarity with maintenance software such as MaintainX

• First Aid Level 1 and WHMIS certification required

• Capability to lift 50 lbs and prioritize tasks
