Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work site environmentOdours. Dusty.
Work settingCommercial. Industrial. Institutional. Residential. Rural area. Various locations.
Tasks- Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
- Measure, cut and fasten underlay and under padding.
- Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings.
- Prepare and install hardwood floors.
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
- Prepare floors for installations.
- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
Willing to travel.
Work conditions and physical capabilitiesPhysically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Hand-eye co-ordination.
Own tools/equipmentSteel-toed safety boots.
Personal suitabilityClient focus. Organized. Team player.
Experience1 to less than 7 months.
