Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems
• Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal ducting and fittings
• Install diffusers, grilles, and air distribution components
• Assist with layout and fabrication of duct systems
• Load and unload materials and tools
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Follow company and WorkSafeBC safety procedures
• Work with a team to complete projects on schedule

• Registered Sheet Metal Apprentice (or willing to register)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read basic blueprints is an asset
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on construction sites
• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Wage range typically depending on level and experience
• Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
