The OpportunityWe're seeking a Pipelayer to join our team in the Okanagan, supporting civil construction projects across the region. As a Pipelayer, you’ll work alongside a skilled crew in the field to deliver high-quality work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building their skills, working outdoors, and being part of projects that shape communities. Although we are a union‑affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Perform all work safely in line with company policies and WorkSafeBC standards.
- Complete jobs to the required specifications and quality standards.
- Keep all tools and equipment clean, maintained, and in good working condition.
- Rig and hoist pipe sections safely, ensuring proper securing and support.
- Install various pipe systems, including water mains, sanitary sewers, storm drains, etc.
- Assist in trench preparation and grading—both manual labor and in coordination with equipment operators.
- Install and assemble manholes and catch basins.
- Work independently and within a team, taking ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
- Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly site meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years Civil Construction experience.
- Willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean abstract required.
- First Aid Training an asset.

- Union hourly rate: $39.29–$41.29 per hour.
