* ** Job Description*
* This role focuses on building, testing, and installing electrical components and control systems for industrial generators that support AI data centers across North America. You will work with low-voltage systems, interpret schematics and blueprints, and ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical equipment in a large, team-based facility.
** Responsibilities*
* Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels for industrial generator systems.
Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Test, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, products, assemblies, and components to ensure proper function and safety.
Determine the root cause of electrical issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate across teams to identify and implement creative solutions to electrical problems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and related technical documentation to determine work procedures.
Follow verbal and documented work instructions and use available resources to locate relevant technical information.
Maintain consistent quality of work while improving production speed and efficiency.
Plan and organize job tasks effectively to meet deadlines and project requirements.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and resolve issues.
Adhere to safety procedures and best practices when working with electrical systems and tools.

* Hands-on electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
General understanding of electrical procedures and methods.
Basic knowledge of electrical power and control systems.
Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems.
Ability to effectively follow verbal and written work instructions.
Demonstrated ability to test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in an electrical setting.

** Work Environment*
* The role is based in a large facility that can be warm in the summer and cooler in the winter. You will work as part of a team of approximately 19 electricians in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The standard schedule runs Monday to Friday, with a focus on filling an afternoon (2:30 pm u :00 pm) shift, while opportunities on a day shift may also be available.
The work involves regular use of hand tools and power tools for electrical installation, testing, and maintenance. The dress code includes safety-toe work boots (STWB), long pants, and a T-shirt, suitable for an industrial setting where safety and practicality are prioritized.

* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chilliwack, BC.
** Pay and Benefits*
* The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $44.00/hr.
