Key Responsibilities
  • Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting
  • Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one‑on‑one or small group sessions
  • Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals
  • Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students
  • Make a lasting impact on student's educational success

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC‑SLP) or eligibility
  • Maryland and/or Washington D.C. license or eligibility
