Job Description / Responsibilities- Structure classes and use appropriate instructional aids stressing discovery and laboratory learning methods.
- Demonstrate mathematical concepts using models, chalkboard, overhead projector, and other standard or teacher‑prepared instructional aids.
- Design learning activities that relate mathematics to the physical world.
- Develop weekly lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with the district curriculum.
- Provide students with the opportunity to partake in daily patriotic observance, under Education Code 52720.
- Monitor classroom environment to ensure clean and safe conditions and notify principal of any issues.
- Monitor classroom activities making students responsible for putting materials, supplies, tools, etc., safely and neatly away at the end of the class.
- Valid California Single Subject Mathematics credential.
- English Learner Authorization.
- Copy of transcript (all undergraduate and graduate coursework).
- Credential copy (detailed screenshot from CTC website or status letter from university, or proof of application; credential must post by July 1 2026).
- Letter of Introduction.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation, signed and dated within last 24 months, wet signatures acceptable.
