Nutrition Services Professional
All Nutrition Services Professionals are required to work 181 work days per year. Canyon Hills Junior High School requires 3 hours per day. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM to 1 PM. Magnolia Junior High School requires 5.5 hours per day. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:15 AM to 1:45 PM and Tuesday from 7:45 AM to 1:15 PM.
Rhodes Elementary School requires 3 hours per day. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM and Tuesday from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM. Townsend Junior High School requires 3 hours per day. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM.

An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination and obtaining a San Bernardino County Food Handler Card. Requirements:
Basic kitchen skills. Experience in kitchen work and serving. Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade, preferably supplemented by courses in cafeteria management, safety and sanitation, and related subjects. Lateral transfers are defined as permanent unit members within the same classification, same number of hours and same work days. Per Article 10.1.2 of the CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, unit members shall have first consideration for the vacancy.
Current employees interested in applying for the same classification position at a different location with the same number of hours and same work days, must complete an application through Ed-Join. Please follow the steps below:

All application materials for each applicant will be evaluated by a screening committee. A combination of written, oral, and performance tests may be administered to secure the best qualified applicants. Those who are deemed best qualified will be scheduled for an interview. All applications (outside and in-house) along with required attachments must be submitted online through EdJoin.org no later than 4:30:00 PM on the closing date.
