At Ariane Group, we are looking for a passionate Research Engineer in Physico-Chemical Analysis ready to tackle challenging technical problems. As a Research Engineer in Physico-Chemical Analysis, you will be at the heart of our innovative projects, contributing to the advancement of our cutting-edge technologies.
Your work environment
You will join the Bouchet Research Center, a dynamic environment where collaboration and innovation are at the core of our values. As a Research Engineer in Physico-Chemical Analysis, you will be responsible for conducting advanced physico-chemical analyses to support our development projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our products, using state-of-the-art techniques and the latest equipment.
Your missions
- Development and optimization:
Propose, develop, and optimize new analysis methods and write operating procedures. - Characterization strategies:
Define characterization strategies adapted to scientific problems. - Physico-chemical expertise:
Perform physico-chemical expertise on energetic materials and chemical products - Analysis of results:
Exploit and interpret experimental results. - Report writing:
Write expertise reports. - Continuous improvement:
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Activity traceability:
Ensure the traceability of activities via the LIMS system.
Profile we are looking for
- Education:
Engineer's degree or doctorate in analytical chemistry, physico-chemical analysis, or material sciences. - Experience:
Significant laboratory experience (doctorate or similar professional experience). - Technical skills:
Mastery of several techniques including chromatography (HPLC, GC, CI), infrared spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, NMR, thermal analyses (DSC, ATD, ATG), textural analyses (BET, laser granulometry), and X-ray diffraction crystallography. - Languages:
Proficiency in technical English is indispensable.
