Position Summary...
What you'll do...Oversees and manages productivity of area of responsibility by preparing reviewing andor analyzing business reports communicating goals and managing staffing scheduling assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals identifying associate customer andorsupplier concerns and determining corrective action to take or make recommendations in order to resolve Ensures maintenance department daily operations are performed properly by monitoring and driving department performance related to maintainingwarehouse equipment for example material handling equipment pneumatic systems electrical systems air compressors general building repairs and monitoring and ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations ie OSHA Hazardous Waste NFPA Storm Water DOT etcrelating to maintenance operations Manages associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction monitoring performance and providing feedback identifying training and development needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth teaching supporting and modeling Logistics and company policies and procedures and participating in the hiring promotion coaching teaching and evaluation of associates leaders and managers Drives the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals for example production quality safety by implementing operational improvements monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget monitoring asset utilization and developingdistributing andor maintaining procedures and supporting documentation Coordinates completes and oversees job related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability forand measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices Respect the Individual:
