We’re seeking a Product Development Engineer with an industrial design background to help shape the future of our consumer product lineup. This role blends aesthetic sensibility with technical execution, giving you ownership from early concept through production launch.

Portfolio Required
Please include a portfolio that showcases both aesthetic design and engineering execution across products developed from concept through production.
What You’ll Do- Turn product concepts and design intent into manufacturable mechanical solutions
- Build, refine, and validate 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
- Select materials, finishes, and processes that balance performance, cost, and brand quality
- Work closely with Industrial Design, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Merchandising to elevate product aesthetics and functionality
- Collaborate with global suppliers on design for manufacture and assembly, tooling, and production readiness
- Lead sample reviews, pilot builds, and first-article inspections
- Support performance, durability, safety testing, and regulatory compliance
- Analyze test results, solve issues through root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation and specifications
- Continuously identify ways to improve product quality, cost, and user experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related field
- 3–6 years of product development experience in consumer products, appliances, electronics, or related industries
- Strong Solid Works skills (3D modeling, assemblies, 2D drawings)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Solid grasp of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and basic GD&T
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Exceptional visual judgment with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communicator
