Job Overview
Supply Chain Operations Manager – ARP – Chino, CA
Responsible for managing customer service, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and warehousing functions at a large plant.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with customers regarding requirements, orders, complaints, and concerns; and escalates complaints to appropriate management.
- Oversee plant production schedule, ensuring alignment with capacity plans and inventory targets.
- Manage logistics including carrier partnership activities and incident notifications.
- Direct warehouse activities, implementing best practices for optimization and utilization.
- Manage raw material consumption, develop plans to maintain production needs, and address any issues to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Establish and implement best practices related to production scheduling, inventory management, warehouse management and material control.
- Coordinate expediting and lead‑time reduction activities to achieve customer expectations and support industry best‑in‑class production lead times.
- Communicate potential product shortfalls to Corporate Supply Chain team and assist in resolving shortages to meet customer demands.
- Work closely with Corporate Supply Chain team to optimize capacity and inventory plans.
- Order raw materials including resin, preforms, pallets, tier sheets, and top frames ensuring adherence to procurement contracts.
- Purchase other materials and services from outside contractors, such as forklift maintenance.
- Manage periodic physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods, performing reconciliation with ERP system.
- Generate inventory and production reports, measuring performance daily and weekly through analysis reports, and recommend changes to improve throughput.
- Assure all plant safety and accident prevention policies are adhered to, including maintaining cleanliness and safe work practices.
- Manage team of direct reports; responsible for employee selection, development, mentoring, performance management, and overall talent engagement.
- Travel 10%
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Five years of experience in materials or operations in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic injection, blow molding, or packaging.
- Functional certification such as APICS, CSCMP, or comparable (preferred).
- Proficient SAP and Microsoft Office experience.
- Knowledge of production scheduling and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and techniques for manufacturing and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and methods.
- Knowledge of transportation methods and relative costs and benefits.

Job Type & CompensationFull‑time
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 (base). Annual bonus based on performance.
