Vinyl & Sign Fabrication Technician

National Sign & Marketing Corporation is an industry leading electrical signage manufacturer/contractor. Looking for individuals to fill various positions within our company.

Plastics and Vinyl Department
- Assist in various plastic and vinyl components. Work may involve operating various hand tools such as hammers, cutters, trimmers, routers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Under guidance you will receive instruction and orders for production of various sign projects.
• Weeding and application of cut vinyl graphics onto various substrates.
• Ability to use various hand tools such as hammers, cutters, trimmers, routers, jigsaws and panel saws.
• Assists in the assembly of signs.
• Other duties as assigned by production manager.
• Keep work area clean and free from safety hazards.
• May be required to do simple calculations and measurements as part of the production of parts.
• Properly clean and secure power machinery when work is completed.
• Properly clean and return hand tools when work is completed.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

(minimum qualifications):

• Starting at 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment desired, but not necessary.
• Ability to use basic power and hand tools and general shop equipment.

Experience:

• Relevant: 6 months (preferred).
