• Perform visual and physical inspections on cylinders before filling to determine whether retesting or repairs are required.
• Conduct cylinder conversions, including de‑valving, valving, stripping, and repairing valves.
• Operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers.
• Maintain required certifications to properly certify cylinders as retested.
• Operate a forklift to support material handling and movement of cylinders.
• Receive incoming cylinders, valves, and cylinder maintenance supplies; diagnose and repair cylinder neck leaks and safety‑related leaks.
• Inspect and identify defective cylinders; scrap when appropriate.
• Perform painting, housekeeping, and light plant maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in the gas industry or cylinder maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 40–70 lbs. as needed.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong, self‑motivated work ethic.

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour.
