1st Shift Machine Operator

Pridestaff is currently seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in Chino, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate: $19-20 hourly

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm (6am to 11:45am on Fridays if needed for overtime)

Job Duties:

This is an entry level machine operator position. Minimal to no experience needed, will work with an advanced machinist.

• Quickly, efficiently, and safely loading and unloading parts from CNC machines according to supervisor's instructions.
• Checking critical dimensions according to supervisor's instructions.
• Counting and packaging parts according to supervisor's instructions.
• Washing and drying parts
• Deburring and chamfering
• Cleaning and general janitorial duties
• Works overtime hours when requested.
• Keeps regular attendance; avoids absenteeism and tardiness.
• Notifies Supervisor of any unexpected absences before shift start time.

• Assist with packaging and shipping
• Assist with basic inspection tasks
• Learn safety features of the machine
• Must be aware of and follow company's safety policy
• Must learn and follow ISO requirements (Job traveler, blueprints, inspection sheets, tagging parts, calibrated equipment)

• Must have at least 6 months recent related manufacturing, production or warehouse experience
• Experience operating production machinery highly preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, pull through out the shift.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Good work ethic, behavior, punctuality, communication, organization, focus, and attention span

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
