* Machine Operator – Chino, CAMachine Operator The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating sheet metal fabricating machinery and welding equipment to produce precision parts within established tolerances. As a Machine Operator, you will work from technical drawings and orders to execute fabrication, welding, and quality inspections with a moderate degree of autonomy while maintaining a safe and efficient work area.

What You Will Do:

· Set up and operate manual and N/C sheet metal fabricating and welding equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Plan, lay out, and perform arc and acetylene welding on various metals and alloys across vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
· Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and bills of materials (BOM).
· Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, and levels.
· Conduct routine preventative maintenance on assigned machinery and tools.
· Operate hand and power tools (grinders, drills, sanders), perform manual material handling, and operate forklifts.
· Perform industrial paint spraying and order preparation as needed.

What You Need to Succeed:
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (Required)
· 1+ years of experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery, N/C equipment, or welding tools (Required)
· Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, and product nomenclature (Required)
· Proven ability to perform basic shop mathematics and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures (Required)
· Vocational training, welding certification, or formal technical trade education (Preferred)
· Forklift certification or ability/willingness to obtain certification (Preferred)
