Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 PM - 07:30 AM

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs and guides patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients and communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.

The nurse must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of nursing personnel
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members about patient conditions
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ventilator Management experience preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
