We are partnering with an established manufacturing organization to place a detail‑oriented Microbiology Technician on their quality control team. This is a great opportunity for a lab professional with hands‑on wet chemistry experience to contribute to a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine analytical testing including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and other QC measurements on incoming and in-process samples.
  • Support the review and approval of in-process and finished goods samples.
  • Prepare and transcribe analytical data for Certificate of Analysis (CoA) release.
  • Accurately label and distribute specimens to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving functions for the QC laboratory as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, lab equipment, and supplies.
  • Carry out quality control duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Uphold and monitor all GMP and safety requirements within the work environment.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with various departments and employee levels.
  • Support additional QC areas and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of formal laboratory experience required.
  • Wet chemistry background is required.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid clerical and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; ability to manage and transcribe analytical records.
  • Ability to understand and execute complex instructions with accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding laboratory results and records.
