DescriptionJob duties may include: lead team members in the preparation and review of regulatory reporting packages quarterly and annually in accordance with the requirements of regulatory bodies; implement sound controls and processes to adequately support regulatory reporting requirements; support team members through the preparation of supporting schedules and addressing complex technical questions for the audits performed by both external and internal auditors, as well as regulators;
lead team members in the preparation and submission of all financial reports to regulatory bodies; ensure the Company's compliance with laws and regulations; coordinate with various accounting and operational groups to obtain required information; perform adequate planning and manage conflicting priorities to meet the deadlines; step in when needed at least quarterly, to review and oversee the work of team members in the compilation of information related to quarterly financial reporting for global reporting to Japan and for the annual audited financial statements...Education/
Experience:
Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typically possesses five to seven years combined experience performing or supervising function.

ResponsibilitiesThe role will support the implementation of safety projects and tasks related to the Company's Safety Management System (SMS). The SMS ensures our safety efforts are working together, and provides a repeatable framework that relies on Worker and Leader Engagement to proactively identify and communicate safety risks, implement mitigation strategies, and continually improve the SMS. Responsibilities will include tasks in the areas of SMS Risk Management, SMS Management of Change (MoC), SMS Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) and Human Organizational Performance (HOP).
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting peers with SMS implementation, tracking, presenting and analyzing complex information
- Analyzing data in risk, MoC and QA/QC applications (e.g., Excel, Enablon and PowerBI)
- Ability to escalated issues to Management
- Apply adjustments or improvements to processes based on risk, MoC and QA/QC efforts
- Proficient in managing complex projects concurrently
- Capable of leading teams to follow processes and execute deliverables
- Experience in using PowerPoint, Excel and basic tools, such as Pivot tables/charts
- Experience with excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience communicating to senior leaders and executives
- Experience with Safety Management Systems
- Experience working with an electric utility
