Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0258) Overview

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.25 USD per hour.

Target is a place where team members help families discover the joy of everyday life. This role focuses on guest service, store cleanliness, and supporting both in-store and digital services to drive guest loyalty.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs, resolving concerns when applicable.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and enhance the guest experience.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Assist guests with Target App features including Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide enrollment and usage where needed.
• Assist with returns following store policies and involve leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage stock during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and related duties with compliance to laws and policies.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.
