Join our team as a dedicated Private Security Officer, where your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and secure environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your experience while managing guest interactions and maintaining order within the facility. With a competitive starting pay of $23.00 or more based on your security background, this could be the right fit for you.
We anticipate the start date around September/October 2025, with the work location at our Chino store. We look forward to contacting you for an in-person interview!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct s to verify guest identity.
- Screen patrons for weapons and illegal substances.
- Document incidents thoroughly, including details of who, what, why, when, and how, and email reports at the end of each shift.
- Report any use of force immediately to the Director of Security.
- Enhance security visibility by monitoring the premises, including walkthroughs, restroom checks, outdoor exits, and other areas prone to concealment.
The expected work hours are scheduled primarily from 7 PM to 3 AM from Thursday to Saturday, and 7 PM to 1 AM from Sunday to Wednesday. It is crucial to clock in and out at the beginning and end of your shifts, as failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action, including termination.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours.
- Capability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous security experience is essential.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Annual completion of continuing education/training in the security field.
