- Monday to Thursday, 5pm-1:30am. Friday – 2pm-10:30pm. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. OT mandatory if required.

** Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician**. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems.  This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks.  This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

* What You Will Need:

*** Facility, maintenance or service technician experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
* Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
* Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
* Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
* Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)
* Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA
* Work order experience
* Experience operating Power Equipment would be considered an asset. However, location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications
* Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

*** Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
