In this essential role, you'll be responsible for moving and managing merchandise with multiple types of advanced equipment, making a difference in the smooth functioning of our operations.

Forklift Operator II – Reach Replenishment Pay: $23.00 per hour

Shift: First Shift

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Overtime:
Required when requested

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator II safely and efficiently operates material-handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator may also perform order-filling or order-checking duties as needed. Candidates must have experience working in a rack-warehouse environment and be able to operate at least three of the following:

• Reach truck
• Stand-up forklift
• Sit-down forklift
• Cherry picker/order picker
• Clamp truck

Forklift certification on at least three types of equipment is required. Equipment operation will account for 50% or more of the workday. Essential Responsibilities

• Stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to storage areas.
• Pull, pick, and prepare products for shipment.
• Verify that the correct products and quantities are loaded and shipped.
• Move merchandise between staging, storage, and trailer areas.
• Complete equipment inspections before operating machinery.
• Use RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and stock rotation.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report safety concerns.

Qualifications

• At least one year of forklift or warehouse distribution equipment experience.
• Forklift certification on at least three types of equipment.
• Reach replenishment and rack-warehouse experience.
• RF scanner experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel, computer, and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach frequently.
• Ability to work in varying noise, lighting, and temperature conditions.
• Availability to work extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualified candidates must successfully complete an equipment evaluation and certification.
