Warehouse General Labor

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse General Labor in Chino, California.

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Warehouse positions are paid weekly
• On the job paid training is provided

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of related warehouse experience required
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Certification to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, and policies
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system
• Work overtime as assigned
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent organization, time‑management, and follow‑up skills
• May need to operate manual or automated warehouse equipment (e.g., packaging line)

• Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring accurate scanning.
• Assist dock employees with new procedures and secure the facility at shift end.
• Perform picking, packing, and housekeeping duties, and investigate any scanning or product damage issues.
• Execute material moves per company policies and procedures.
• Participate in work group and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
