About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in both accounting operations and human resources administration, ensuring accurate financial management and seamless HR processes.

Job Type: Full-Time
Accounting Responsibilities- Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Oversee accounts receivable: invoicing, collections, and payment reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable: vendor payments and expense processing.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts regularly.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel and benefits records.
- Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate employee benefits with insurance providers and benefit vendors.
- Manage unemployment claims, documentation, and required state reporting.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll, benefits, and employment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in both accounting and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
- Experience with accounting/HR software (e.g., Quick Books, ADP, Paychex) preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
