The Assistant Account Manager is an entry‑level, training‑focused role designed to support the Commercial Lines team. This position provides hands‑on experience and development opportunities, with a typical progression toward an Account Manager or Internal Service Center role.
Responsibilities- Support Account Managers with daily service and administrative tasks
- Process basic Certificates of Insurance
- Submit simple policy changes and process endorsements
- Assist with limited customer service inquiries
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the agency system
- Shadow team members to build knowledge and skills
Complete scanning, documentation, and clean‑up projects - Review renewal spreadsheets and assist with documentation processing
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and related materials
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned
- Primarily non-client-facing responsibilities while in training
- Learn and navigate the Agency Management System (AMS)
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Team‑oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
