Senior Hardware Network Fabric Development Engineer
Onsite position at an HPE office. The role focuses on developing high‑performance electrical systems for the Hardware Fabric Signal team. The engineer will design, simulate, validate, debug, and optimize electrical interfaces for industry‑leading supercomputer systems.
Responsibilities- Design and assess 100+ gigabit/s electrical and optical links and memory interface channels.
- Create and run simulation models and suites.
- Correlate simulation results with laboratory measurements.
- Develop PCB signal integrity design rules, stack‑ups, and connector pin‑out recommendations.
- Track and resolve electrical issues through hands‑on testing and debugging.
- Produce documentation, test plans, and test reports.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
- 10+ years of high‑performance electrical design experience.
- Experience with Ethernet or Infini Band components and key performance metrics.
- Signal integrity expertise.
- RF or Microwave design experience preferred.
- 3‑D modeling with HFSS preferred.
- Proficiency with Ansoft/HFSS/Allegro.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (perl, bash, Python) a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competitive salary (USD 119,500 – 275,000 in Texas & Wisconsin) with variable incentives.
