Job Title
Business System and Data Engineer
LocationChippewa Falls, Wisconsin (HPE's HPC factory)
Work ModeHybrid – average 2 days per week on site
Responsibilities- Conduct advanced data analysis on supply chain data to drive actionable improvements
- Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
- Manage business configurations for the manufacturing execution system (MES) and ERP system (SAP)
- Write business requirement documents for IT to develop and improve our system architecture
- Conduct user acceptance testing of all new code deployments for accuracy
- Enable new products at the manufacturing facility by managing product set-ups and virtual/pilot builds
- Troubleshoot system issues that arise from operations
- Access and pull data from various databases and translate the data into an acceptable form for engineering and business teams to drive improvements
- Represent Supply Chain in related projects and initiatives
- Design portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing of parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, based on established engineering principles and specifications
- Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners regarding process and standards compliance, manufacturing issues, and recommendations for problem resolution
- Participate as a member of project teams with other manufacturing engineers and internal and outsourced partners to develop and execute reliable, cost‑effective, and high‑quality manufacturing solutions for complex products throughout their lifecycle
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, information systems, or a related STEM discipline
- Experience with engineering tools and software to design and automate manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of R, Python, or PowerBI is a plus
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Understanding of database structures and coding languages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options effectively

Annual salary range: USD 62,900 – 145,300 (Wisconsin). Variable incentives may also be offered.
