Senior Product Designer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Product Designer (Hybrid Remote) in the Eau Claire / Chippewa Falls Area, WI (3 days onsite required).

Schedule is 1st Shift. Pay Rate: $30.18 - $35.50/hr (Higher level Technician roles available up to $39.91/hr based on experience).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Designer to join a leading regional manufacturer dedicated to high-quality, sustainable design solutions. This role bridges the gap between prototype and production, ensuring all new and modified products are fully ready for the manufacturing floor.

• Design & Analysis:
  Conduct feasibility studies and complex CAD investigations for new components.
• Prototyping:
  Use 3D modeling software to develop and refine prototypes, evaluating them for safety, performance, and manufacturability.
• Technical Documentation:
  Create production drawings, comprehensive bills of materials (BOM), and specifications.
• Design Optimization:
  Recommend and implement changes to resolve field issues or meet specific customer requirements.
• Engineering Changes:
  Process change requests and maintain accuracy in production documentation.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related engineering field.
• Experience:
  
  1-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing design environment.
• Software
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software is essential.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of production processes, material properties, and engineering mathematics (Algebra/Geometry/Physics).
• Residency:
  Must be a Wisconsin resident for hybrid work eligibility.
