System Analyst

Job Requirements

Chippewa County is accepting applications for a System Analyst within the Department of Administration – Information Technology Division.

• Design, build, and implement secure server systems across the enterprise.
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize servers, applications, phone systems, operating systems, and software with a focus on law enforcement and the City of Chippewa Falls.
• Ensure Chippewa County computer security and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines for protection of sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide capacity‑planning solutions.
• Analyze and resolve end‑user hardware, software issues; provide end‑user training as required.
• Provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in system analysis, server management, and project‑management principles.
• OR an Associate’s degree in Information Technology with a minimum of six years of recent experience in system analysis, server management, and project‑management principles.
• Virtualization experience is preferred.
• Experience working in the public sector is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and cell phone are required.
