Electronic Debug Test Technician – 2nd Shift
This role is onsite with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.
Job DescriptionReviews and tests operability of electronic systems and components; troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning systems and components; reads and interprets schematics, printouts and specifications to determine the functionality of electrical circuitry; participates with engineers in debugging and troubleshooting new and existing products.
Responsibilities- Assigned to work 2nd shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday‑Friday.
- Conduct component level troubleshooting of printed circuit assemblies.
- Use Digital Volt Meter and Oscilloscope to diagnose component failures.
- Replace components in servers, including processors, DIMMs, PCA boards, cables, heat sinks, and other high value materials.
- Use online methods and work instructions to identify hardware issues at system level.
- Provide system status verbally and in report form as required.
- Interface with engineers, technicians, and field personnel regarding system level problems.
- Provide input to improve efficiency of hardware, software, and procedures.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 4–6 years of experience (or equivalent work experience).
- Working knowledge in electronics technology.
- US Citizen.
- Computer hardware knowledge with good communication skills.
- Ability to navigate simple software and computer applications.
- Independent judgment, works under limited supervision.
