Chippewa River Industries, Inc. (CRI) is seeking a dependable and skilled Full - Time Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping needs of our facilities. This position reports to the Maintenance Lead and generally works 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities- Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs involving plumbing, heating, electrical, refrigeration, facility, and production equipment.
- Complete preventive and routine maintenance on production, shipping, receiving, utility, and restroom equipment.
- Perform light carpentry and assist with custodial operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, pest-control, and housekeeping activities.
- Complete or oversee groundskeeping duties, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Design and manufacture jigs and other workplace accommodations that improve production efficiency.
- Serve as a backup contact for the facility’s emergency monitoring system and as a backup truck driver when requested.
- Hourly rate of $21.00 - $22.00 an hour

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience performing skilled maintenance work.
- Knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools used to maintain buildings, production equipment, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify operating problems and determine an effective course of action.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and Safety Data Sheets.
- Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and exercise sound judgment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical work that may include lifting, carrying, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, and pulling.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years, with no major moving violations or accidents

- Successful completion of Department of Justice/Caregiver and DMV background checks.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when requested.
