- Set Up and operate Machine.
- Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
- Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance grinding; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
- Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
- Perform equipment maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
- Understand decimals and basic Mathematics.
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to understand decimals in sizing
- Consistently reliable attendance
- Willingness to work 3rd Shift Sunday 7pm to 7am, Monday - Wednesday 11pm to 7am
- Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
- Prolonged periods (up to 4 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and stretching in between breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
- Demonstrated leadership skills & ability to multi-task.
- Machining skills acquired through work experience and training from Wissota Tool team.
- Problem solving/critical thinking abilities.
- Good oral and written communication skills
