Overview
Cadrex is searching for a Warehouse Associate II who will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, focusing on inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting materials, picking and packing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders or delivery documents
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, proper packaging, and on-time delivery
- Utilize inventory management systems or manual documentation to record inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in performing regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and accessibility of materials
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in training and mentoring new or junior warehouse associates
- Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materials
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and order processing
- Proficiency in utilizing inventory management systems or other warehouse software
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols
- High School Diploma

- Mon-Thurs, 6:00-4:30pm

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
