Electronic Assembly Technician

Job Overview

Rex Systems Incorporated (RSI), an established high‑reliability ISO 9001:2015 certified electronics manufacturer, is seeking a full‑time Electronic Assembly Technician.

• Assembly of electronic and mechanical parts, wiring of electronic components, and assembly of basic and intricate electro‑mechanical parts.
• Assembly of printed wiring boards, repairs, and complex wiring.
• Utilize production documents (assembly instructions, drawings, parts lists, etc.) and production tools to prepare materials.
• Solder and inspect solder connections to IPC industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment while following safety regulations.
• Complete production and quality documentation as required.
• Work independently in a team‑oriented environment with a positive attitude to achieve goals.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Detail oriented with manual dexterity.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to use respirators and other PPE as required.
• Preferred: IPC J‑STD‑001 certification, solder experience, and prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.

This is a full‑time hourly position Monday‑Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, qualifying for full‑time benefits. On‑the‑job training is provided.

RSI engineers, manufactures, and tests military electronic components and assemblies, having performed as a prime contractor on over 5,000 U.S. military contracts.
