Production Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage factory loading based on customer delivery requirements, inside sales, manufacturing capacity, and material supply.
• Set up manufacturing capabilities by reviewing all new job orders and confirming appropriate turn‑around time and pricing to maintain revenue targets.
• Oversee production of job orders, monitor production processes, and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Ensure resources are available to complete jobs on‑time and with acceptable quality.
• Schedule job orders to keep past‑due items at a minimum and meet departmental throughput targets and monthly shipment goals.
• Meet with customer service representatives on job quotes to confirm delivery feasibility.
• Draft timelines for critical job orders and monitor progress throughout the shop.
• Serve as liaison between manufacturing, customer service, and customers regarding status updates on all job orders.
• Review daily work‑in‑process reports to maintain awareness of schedule adherence and resolve production issues.
• Participate in daily production meetings to direct activities, establish priorities, and report progress.
• Monitor product standards and recommend process improvements or quality‑control programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to allocate personnel, material, and equipment to meet schedules and correct any schedule slips.
• Conduct and participate in production, safety, and other necessary trainings.
• Implement company policies and goals with department managers.

• Experience with MRP/MES systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, shop‑floor planning/control systems) is preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English to a degree necessary to perform the job.
• Capability to assess situations quickly and make appropriate decisions.
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of IPC or equivalent manufacturing standards is preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk the production floor during shifts.

• High school diploma required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Production control experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. For California‑based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, recognizing foreign person visitors, authorizing foreign visitors, understanding export requirements for shipments leaving the U.S., and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
